We are happy to invite you to our first joint LIGHTer Academy & PhD Network Seminars!

We start this season with a seminar by two outstanding speakers: a LIGHTer PhD Network Alumni and an industry researcher from LIGHTer Academy
 
Dr. Johan Lindwall, Swerim (LIGHTer PhD Network alumni): Application of digital twins in smart manufacturing
 
Data analytics is expected to increase process knowledge and process control in steel manufacturing. A physical process can be monitored by sensors and provide data for process analysis, but digital twins can add another layer of data from virtual process modelling. Together with a standardized nomenclature, all available data can be used to an analytical layer that can give even better and more robust predictions of the physical process.
