We are constantly working with the development of new lightweight solutions for the aviation industry. Within the aviation industry, the Advisory Council for Aeronautics Research in Europe (ACARE) has set targets for 2050 that represent a 75% reduction in emissions of CO2  and a 90% reduction of nitrogen oxide compared with the levels recorded in 2000. In practice, that means that the aviation industry needs to achieve weight reductions in plane and engine components of at least
10% every tenth year.
